Ast Inst/Inst/Ast Professor Fixed Term
The College of Education at Michigan State University announces an open position in the Office of Rehabilitation and Disability Studies (ORDS) in the Department of Counseling Educational Psychology and Special Education. This position is a fixedterm appointment that will teach a onesemesterlong course.
The U.S. News and World Report annual ranking of graduate programs consistently rates the MSU Rehabilitation Counseling programs (doctoral and masters levels) as one of the top programs in the nation. We are seeking colleagues to be part of our topranked programs who are committed to research teaching and practice that promote the enhanced quality of life of individuals with disabilities. We are interested in colleagues who share our vision for stewardship of the rehabilitation counseling profession. Duties:
Graduate teaching in all modes of delivery in both our CACREPaccredited masters rehabilitation counseling and doctoral rehabilitation counselor education programs

Doctorate Rehabilitation counseling
Applicants should have an earned doctoral degree in rehabilitation counselor education rehabilitation psychology or a closely related discipline or provide evidence that the doctoral degree will be completed prior to the start of the appointment.
Successful candidates must
1 have a record of teaching graduate courses and/or providing clinical supervision and
2 at least two years of experience in the field of rehabilitation services working with individuals with disabilities.
Education requirements are as follows: Assistant Professor Ph.D InstructorMasters Ast. InstructorB.A.
1 possession of teaching and/or clinical skills and experience with diverse disability populations in the areas of disability and rehabilitation;
2 ability in promoting diverse inclusive and culturally responsive teaching and clinical practices;
3 providing quality mentoring and supervision at the graduate level.
