YOUR MISSION
We are hiring for multiple teams at Glovo with diverse scopes User Acquisition Flow Courier Fraud mitigation Order Dispatching system payments etc. We are looking for someone that raises the bar in the team leading initiatives being a technical reference for other engineers and mentoring them
THE JOURNEY
- Be a part of a crossfunctional team working closely with backend and frontend engineers
- Develop software using modern engineering approaches and agile principles
- Make our technology and our team scale as the business grows
- Own your deliverables from start to finish
- Deliver highquality solutions
- Participate in the teams life and contribute to decisionmaking
- Mentor and empower other developers around you
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- Computer Science or similar degree
- 4 years of relevant fulltime experience
- Strong Swift skills and working with XCode
- Knowledge of iOS SDK
- Understanding of reactive programming (ReactiveKit ReactiveCocoa UIKit etc)
- Understanding of AutoLayout and ability to create UI from code
- Knowledge of objectoriented programming and software architecture
- Ability to write good unit tests is a must
- Analytical and problemsolving skills
- Vivid interest in at least one area outside of coding (architecture algorithms optimization automation scalability etc.
- Fluid communication in English
- Nicetohave Experience with Full stack technologies (Java/Kotlin)
- Nicetohave Participation in open source projects
- Nicetohave Basic knowledge of DataDog Crash reporting on iOS
