Requirements
- Educated native or bilingual speaker.
- 2 years of classroom experience teachingSpanishlanguage to adult Englishspeaking students.
- 1 year(s) of teaching experience in a smallgroup classroom setting.
- Must possess the cultural background of the country and geographical region (raised or educated in the country).
- Familiarity with the communicative approach to language learning ILR proficiency scale levels and OPI assessments is highly desired.
- Familiarity with various computer platforms including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting software (Zoom Skype MS Teams).
- Teaching Spanish as a foreign language preferably in oneonone or small group settings.
- Familiar with teaching with the communicative approach to language teaching.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to assess the learning style of the student and adjust teaching accordingly.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a distributed team.
- Strong time management andproblemsolvingabilities.
- Knowledge of Adult Learning Theories and practice preferred.
- Ability to work remotely and provide required services from alternate locations via MS Teams ZOOM etc. as needed.
- Instructors must be able to work in a harmonious and professional manner with cultures from around the world.
