Job Description

The Vice President Global Operations Strategy at Fortune Brands Innovations (FBIN) based in Deerfield Illinois is responsible for developing and implementing global manufacturing and operations strategies that align with the companys overall business objectives and drive competitive advantage. This role reports directly to the Chief Supply Chain Officer and will oversee customs and compliance operations strategy and advanced manufacturing engineering. The VP will lead a global team in collaborating crossfunctionally to drive operational excellence with a focus on both strategy and .

Position location: This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule based out of Deerfield IL. Effective mid2025 Fortune Brands will transition to a new worldclass campus in Deerfield bringing together associates from across our U.S. offices brands and functions. The campus will offer vibrant workspaces for collaboration along with amenities for dining onsite daycare fitness and recreation.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute strategic initiatives to drive growth and improve operational excellence across global operations.
  • Customs & Compliance: Oversee customs and compliance activities ensuring adherence to international trade regulations and tariffs.
  • Manufacturing Strategy: Lead the development and of manufacturing strategies to improve efficiency reduce costs and enhance product quality.
  • Advanced Manufacturing Engineering: Drive innovation in manufacturing processes through advanced engineering techniques and technologies by leading both strategy and .
  • Financial Management: Oversee financial planning and analysis for operations including budgeting forecasting and make versus buy analysis.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a global team fostering a culture of collaboration innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner crossfunctionally with commercial product development and operations leaders to drive alignment on strategic priorities.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive continuous improvement.
  • Technology Implementation: Identify and implement new technologies to enhance manufacturing capabilities and drive innovation.
  • Capital Budget Management: Develop and manage capital budgets ensuring alignment with financial targets.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards across global operations.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure a reliable and costeffective supply chain including procurement logistics and inventory management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Attract retain and develop a highperforming manufacturing team fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Operations Engineering Business Administration or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in global manufacturing leadership roles with a proven track record of strategic planning and operational excellence.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple facilities.
  • Expertise in customs and compliance tariffs white sheet manufacturing exercises project management financials and make versus buy analysis.
  • Strong leadership strategic planning and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in continuous improvement methodologies and familiarity with emerging manufacturing technologies.
  • Visionary mindset for innovative solutions and strategic thinking.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25 domestically and internationally.


Additional Information :

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $250000 $300000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location. In addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a rolebased sales incentive plan.
