Responsibilities
Top 5 Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable highperformance modules for Magento 2 EE/Cloud with a focus on backend functionality.
- Write clean modular and efficient PHP code following best practices and design patterns.
- Design and develop custom APIs services and integrations with thirdparty applications.
- Optimize database queries and performance tuning for hightraffic environments using MySQL or other relational databases.
- Conduct unit testing integration testing and code reviews to ensure quality and security standards.
Additional Responsibilities
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipeline integration automated deployments and cloud hosting (AWS Azure GCP).
- Debug and resolve serverside performance bottlenecks security vulnerabilities and scalability issues.
- Research and implement microservices architecture and headless commerce solutions for modern Magento applications.
- Work with GraphQL and REST APIs for seamless data exchange between frontend and backend systems.
- Stay uptodate with Magento security patches upgrades and best practices to maintain system integrity.
Qualifications :
Top 5 Qualifications
- Strong expertise in PHP Magento 2 (EE/Cloud) and ObjectOriented Programming (OOP).
- Advanced experience with MySQL including query optimization indexing and database design.
- Solid understanding of Magento 2 System Architecture Dependency Injection (DI) Repositories and Services.
- Experience in developing custom Magento extensions (payment shipping checkout etc. following Magento coding standards.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies version control (Git) and modern development workflows.
Additional Responsibilities
- Knowledge of Redis Elasticsearch and Varnish for caching and performance improvements.
- Experience with Docker Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs GraphQL and SOAP web services.
- Exposure to Headless Magento (PWA Vue Storefront Adobe Commerce API) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with serverside scripting cron jobs and performance monitoring tools.
- Experience with Mirakl or other marketplace platforms is a huge plus.
- Excellent English Communication Skills.
