Job Purpose:

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the IT PMO establishing and enforcing project management best practices frameworks and governance processes.
• Manage a portfolio of largescale enterpriselevel IT projects ensuring successful delivery within scope budget and timeline.
• Provide handson project management for critical IT implementations overseeing all phases from initiation to deployment.
• Mentor develop and manage a team of project managers providing guidance and oversight to drive highperformance project .
• Collaborate with business and IT leadership to define project priorities align resources and establish clear objectives.
• Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and continuously improve project methodologies.
• Oversee risk management and mitigation strategies proactively identifying and addressing project roadblocks.
• Manage stakeholder communication ensuring transparency and alignment across departments.
• Ensure projects adhere to compliance security and regulatory requirements particularly in clinical trials and logistics domains.
• Champion Agile and hybrid project management methodologies adapting best practices based on project needs.
• Support and lead largescale portfolio reviews with senior management ensuring alignment with business strategy and priorities.
• Ensure that business value project charters business cases financial planning and CAPEX processes are followed for each project.
• Ensure that each project has a welldefined system adoption and training plan to drive user engagement and successful implementation.
• Provide leadership and motivation to project team members throughout the project life cycle and confer with project staff to outline a work plan.
• Ensure project communication plan RAID exists for all projects.
• Ensure that project goals are in line with business objectives.
• Review status reports prepared by project managers and monitor and help PMs modify schedules or plans as required.
• Explore new ways to increase customer or client satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business Administration or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of IT project management experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a PMO.
• Demonstrated experience managing largescale enterprise IT projects including system implementations digital transformations and integrations.
• Strong background in clinical trials logistics or a related industry is highly preferred.
• Expertise in Agile and hybrid project management methodologies.
• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of mentoring and managing project teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fastpaced highly regulated environment with competing priorities.
• Understanding of Technology solutions e.g. Web Services Cloud compute.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with agile development methodologies and agile planning tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps
• Sensitivity to working in a political environment and to interacting with senior leadership
• Strong problem resolution negotiation and influencing skills
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Experience preparing and presenting on Project proposals progress benefits and risks
• Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations
• Distinctive blend of business IT financial and communication skills. This blend is vital because this is a highly visible position with substantial impact
• Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources
• Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence
• Ability to develop and execute a project resource plan that ensures that the right people are in the right place doing the right things at the right time
• 3 years of experience in related industry preferred Clinical Trials/ Logistics
