Pay Rate: $34.50/hour
(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00 pm11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am4:59am)
- Ensure facilities/plant/production equipment is operating in a safe and optimal manner.
- Effectively troubleshoot and repair all equipment in an expert manner.
- Carry out preventative maintenance efficiently and expertly.
- Operate monitor and repair refrigeration equipment and support systems to facilitate production requirements.
- Maintain refrigeration and related equipment/system through preventive/predictive maintenance programs.
- Repair/maintain boilers plant heat ventilation waste water systems air conditioning related equipment.
- Repair and maintain support machinery in an in an efficient/safe manner which meets regulatory requirements.
- Assure safety and integrity of all facility fire protection systems.
- Carry out and document environmental PSM refrigeration boiler and waste water systems inspections/audits.
- Oversee chemical oil and material waste hauling and programs.
- Interact with production coworkers and vendors/contractors in an efficient safe and professional manner.
Qualifications :
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent or two years technical school specializing in industrial ammonia refrigeration operation.
- Have five years handson industrial ammonia refrigeration experience.
- Have three years hands on experience of industrial boiler operation of low and high pressure systems.
- Have indepth knowledge/experience of waste water treatment fire protection systems and adjustment rates.
- Must have advanced knowledge of three phase motors motor control wrapping and food processing equipment.
- Must be familiar with pumps understanding of gear ratios/speeds and operation of hand and power tools.
- Be able to use welding/cutting equipment and be proficient in all aspects of plant maintenance.
- Be able to read electrical and mechanical schematics and troubleshoot effectively.
- Must have a good understanding of safe work practices PPE and knowledge of OSHA standards.
- Be able to read understand and implement written instructions and procedures in English.
- Have effective communication skills and be able to work effectively in a group setting or independently.
- Be able to work flexible hours and able to work in all three shifts.
- Must be detail oriented and have strong mathematical aptitude.
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive math/reading test.
- Be able to stand for prolong periods 810 hours) on concrete/metal grate floors and work in the cold/heat.
- Must have capability of acquiring boiler operation license.
- A mechanical test will be administered and utilized to determine the skill level
