Join Our Teamof Experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanics in Charleston SC
We are activelyseeking skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanics to become integral members of ourteam based in Charleston SC. The ideal candidate will specialize in the repairof reach stackers diesel heavyduty forklifts and construction equipment. Asa pivotal contributor to our maintenance team you will be instrumental inensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our fleet of heavydutyequipment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics to identify issues and performnecessary repairs on a range of heavy equipment including forklifts railmovers and reach stackers.
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks and inspections touphold equipment longevity and optimal performance.
- Investigate and efficiently resolve complex mechanical andelectrical problems minimizing equipment downtime.
- Replace faulty or wornout components ensuring the use ofhighquality parts and adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs inspections and all maintenanceactivities to contribute to comprehensive equipment history files.
- Conduct test drives postrepairs to validate the effectiveness ofmaintenance work ensuring that equipment meets operational standards.
Requirements:
- Must have an indepth understanding of diesel engines hydraulic systems andelectrical components.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolvecomplex mechanical issues.
- Proficient with OEM computer diagnostic software programs.
- Welding and fabrication experience.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and adapt to variousweather conditions.
- Must have your own set of tools.
- Should have a valid drivers license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Must be ability to clear a criminal record check and drug screen.
Compensation:
- $35 $45/hr.plus bonus.

Shift:
Day Shift 7:00AM 3:30 PM Monday through Friday.
Lots of overtimeavailable and paid after 8 hours daily.
