Position: Domestic assistance (cleaner)

Multiple Positions

Casual contract

Multiple Locations across northernsouthern suburbs of Adelaide

About the role

Were seeking dedicated cleaners to join our team and provide essential support to individuals with disabilities. As a cleaner for our disability support clients youll play a crucial role in enhancing their quality of life by ensuring their living spaces are safe hygienic and welcoming.

This position is offered as a casual contract position with recurring shifts and to be considered for permanent employment after a period.

Responsibilities

Perform cleaning duties in accordance with established standards and protocols.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in residential spaces common areas and support facilities.

Respect and uphold the dignity privacy and preferences of our clients at all times.

Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure their needs are met.

Qualifications/ Selection Criteria:

Previous cleaning experience preferred.

Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)

Current full Drivers License & Registered Vehicle

Current DHS screening Check

A Police Check for criminal history

Proof of COVID19 vaccinations including a booster if eligible

Evidence of work rights in Australia

Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards individuals with disabilities.

Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.

Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to connect with others

Fluency in English highly desirable or English must be your first language (Need fluency and minimal accent due to having some nonverbal clients who are in a stage of speech development.
