Job Overview
Smartco is seeking an experienced Oracle Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle databases including SQL and PL/SQL and will be responsible for developing maintaining and optimizing Oraclebased applications. This role is located in Mumbai and interested candidates must have relevant work experience in oracle development.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL to write efficient database queries and scripts.
- Strong experience in Database Administration including installation configuration and maintenance of Oracle databases.
- Proficiency in Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports for designing and developing robust database applications.
- Expertise in Performance Tuning to optimize database performance and ensure high reliability and availability.
- Deep understanding of Data Modeling principles to design coherent and efficient database schemas.
- Handson experience with Backup and Recovery operations to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex databaserelated issues quickly and efficiently.
- Experience with Oracle database upgrades and patch management.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Oraclebased applications using SQL PL/SQL Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports.
- Perform database administration tasks including installation configuration and maintenance.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization activities to ensure database efficiency and reliability.
- Design and implement data models to meet business requirements and ensure data integrity.
- Manage backup and recovery processes to safeguard critical business data.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and develop database solutions.
- Perform database upgrades and apply necessary patches in a timely manner.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for databaserelated issues.
