Job Description
**RETENTION BONUS AVAILABLE! ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES CAN EARN UP TO $10000.00!**
Responsible for taking MRI exams and following established procedures for patient care and safety.
SHIFT:Monday Friday 8:00AM 5:00PM participates in call rotation.
Education:
Graduate of Radiologic Technology Program.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registered required.
- Current State License required.
- BLS required.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Working knowledge of Xray Equipment and Procedures.
- Anatomy and Physiology. Knowledge of Radiation Safety.
- Ability to follow and apply written direction.
- Attention to detail when performing radiologic exams.
- Computer and keyboarding skills.
- Working knowledge of MRI procedures and protocol.
- Working knowledge of MRI equipment and hazards common to MRI.
- Skill in injecting contrast media.
- Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when conducting MRI exams.
