Job purpose
In this role the Systems and Algorithm development engineer will be responsible for the analysis of requirements design coding and verification of product software for power electronics control modules according to the Automotive SPICE process with the application integrated under AUTOSAR architecture.
Key responsibilities
- Perform analysis of software requirements.
- Perform software design.
- Generate software code for realtime embedded systems either by manual coding configuration of AUTOSAR modules or auto coding of SIMULINK models.
- Perform software verification on test bench and vehicle.
- Generate software documentation: design test plans test results.
- Provide software development support to BorgWarner and customers on test trips.
What were looking for
- At least a Bachelors degree in engineering in a relevant field.
- Previous experience with embedded systems/software and functions is essential.
- High voltage power electronics experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR and ISO26262 is preferred.
- Matlab/Simulink experience is .
- Knowledge of C languages is essential
- Experience working with a Vmodel based process environment (preferably ASPICE) is .
- Excellent organizational time management and interpersonal skills are .
- Strong analytical and problemsolving capability.
- Fluency in English is .

Recruitment process

- Technical Interview(s) 1 to 1.5 hours one or two rounds) Conducted in English with the manager and an additional team member this stage focuses on evaluating your technical knowledge and problemsolving skills. The interview can be held via Teams or at our office.
- Final Interview 45 minutes) A meeting with a representative from the HR department to ensure alignment with our company culture and discuss the next steps. This interview might also take place via Teams or at our office.
