The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services ESData Team:
RTX Enterprise Data Services Organization (ESData) is looking for an Associate Director Data AI & Software Solutions (Associate Director Data Science and Analytics).
Exciting Opportunity!
- Collaborate with RTXwide stakeholders to design and build solution deployed on XETA Analytics XETA AI & XETA Dev platforms. In addition provide technical thought leadership to teams in support of high priority technology investments with significant business impact.
- XETA is RTXs enterprisewide Digital Platform Portfolio for Cloud Data Management Analytics AI/ML and Software Factory. XETA provides an E2E turnkey platform so RTX practitioners can focus on delivering business value.
What You Will Do:
- Lead the design and build of enterprisewide Analytics AI and Software platform or solution capabilities.
- Handson Software Development of reusable components and SDKs.
- Integrate software solutions with standard observability services.
- Design and build integrations to create composite platform services or centralized coordination services.
- Collaborate with the XETA Cloud Platform team on enhancements in new or existing regions.
- Collaborate with Cloud & Data Platform SMEs to design multicloud multiregion COTS deployments.
- Partner with BUs and Corporate Functions to design build and deploy Business Solution.
- Influence decisions and drive alignment across organizational boundaries.
- Define standards and best practices.
- Provide input/collaborate on Reference Architectures and Design Patterns.
- Participate in RTXwide technology councils as needed (Ex. Enterprise Architecture Data Boards)
- Continuously evaluate new technologies / services.
- Handson Software & Cloud Design and Engineering.
- Provide input to Product Management on Roadmap and Sequencing.
- Translate Product Roadmaps into foundation platform or solution capabilities. Participate in Intake and LongRange Planning.
- Provide guidance on prioritization based on RTXwide impact synergies.
- Lead a subset of crossteam PI technical goal setting and assist multiple scrum teams in identifying dependences and sequencing.
- Collaborate with product management and business stakeholders to continuously evolve the platform technical strategy.
- Lead the harmonization of technical requirements across BUs/Enterprise Services.
- Lead planning with suppliers to maximize RTX technical investments.
- Travel 1020 domestically.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Minimum 12 years of experience in software data science or AI/ML and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.
- Experience with modern data applications & platforms utilizing AWS Azure and Hybrid.
- Expert in DevSecOps practices ex. IaC CI/CD
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience in Agile software delivery practices and expectations.
- Experience working with Product Management to build business cases for multiyear investments.
- Working knowledge of financial analysis to forecast cloud usage costs.
- Ability to travel 1020 domestically

The salary range for this role is 147000 USD 295000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
