Job Description
We are looking for a Part Time Servers for Marilyns Caf for the day and swing shifts must be flexible.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greeting guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explaining all specials promotions and food items on the menu.
- Answering questions about menu pricing preparation ingredients and plate presentation.
- Memorizing and promoting daily specials.
- Making food and beverage recommendations to guests as appropriate.
- Ensuring the guest needs are met including keeping beverages full providing additional condiments and/or food items and checking back with guests during their meal.
- Balancing endofday paperwork including cash credit card and due backs with minimal errors overages or shortages.
- Supporting other areas of the restaurant as necessary.
- Maintaining a complete knowledge and understanding of menu items.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED required. Must be 21 years old. Must have 1 year restaurant experience. Must have a valid NV Health and TAM cards.Must be able to work in a environment with exposure to second hand smoke and high noise levels
