Job Description
Come join our Valley View team as a fulltime Accounts Receivable Specialist!
This is a fulltime day shift position!

GENERAL OBJECTIVES:
- This position is responsible for insurance accounts receivable and follow up on unpaid or incorrectly paid claims
- This position will also provide back up for key positions throughout the office.
- This position will often work on special projects as assigned from management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Oneyear certificate from college or technical school; and oneyear related billing experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- We are interested in every qualified candidate who is eligible to work in the United States. Howeverwe are not able to sponsor visas
Required Knowledge:
- Medical billing and health insurancerelated policies processes and procedures required
- Customer service and communication skills
- Ability to use computers including Windowsbased programs; previous experience with Athena NexGen preferred
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent speaking and written communications skills
- Ability to work in and support a team environment
- Ability to teach others
SALARY RANGE
- $20.00to$28.87/hour
- Entry salary dependent upon education skill set and experience.
