Job Description

A pretentious firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join our litigation team in Merced CA. If you are a selfstarter with a passion for the law and a desire to grow your career within a communityfocused firm this is an exceptional opportunity.

As an Associate Attorney you will contribute to a dynamic litigation practice handling cases in areas such as business commercial trust & estate and real estate litigation. We welcome applicants with a range of experience from recent law school graduates to attorneys with up to 5 years of practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis
  • Prepare legal documents including pleadings motions and discovery
  • Represent clients in court and at depositions
  • Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and development

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in the California State Bar
  • Strong academic record and proven track record of success
  • Exceptional communication analytical and writing skills
  • Ability to think critically problemsolve and work independently and as part of a team
  • Local ties to the Merced area
