Title:Adjunct instructors for Math and Astronomy (fall semester 9/212/19/2025
Bargaining Unit/Salary Level:Salary and Benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MSEA Adjunct Faculty Unit.
Responsibilities:Central Maine Community College seeks adjunct faculty to teach Astronomy statistics quantitative reasoning and algebrabased courses. The instructor will deliver and use a learning management system. The courses are a combination of day and evening classes and are onground at our Auburn campus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters degree in mathematics physics or engineering (electrical civil or mechanical)
- Experience teaching collegelevel mathematics
- Experience in the field
- Experience with Brightspace or other Learning Management Systems
- Possess enthusiasm and passion for student learning and be able to respond to the needs of students using a variety of teaching methods
