Psychiatric NP InpatientED

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide high quality professional Psychiatric services to patients on the Inpatient Psychiatry Unit 4B and the ED of University Hospital.Specific services to include diagnostic assessments treatment and discharge planning working in a multidisciplinary treatment team model.

NYS licensed/registered Psychiatric NP required (NYS NP specialty area of certification must be consistent with practice). Must have Masters Degree NPI number DEA certification medical malpractice insurance and be Medicare enrolled with Medicare Identification Number (or PTAN). Eligibility criteria for NP requires National Certification through AANP orANCC prior to hire. Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.

Psychiatric inpatient/ED NP experience preferred.
