Job Description
To provide an extraordinary commitment to customer satisfaction. To always deliver on our commitments. To locate gas facilities and perform onsite inspections of contractors practices during large construction projects insuring that Avista Corp standards state and federal regulations are met during these projects answering any questions and providing guidance to the contractor. To inspect natural gas facilities built by contract crews. To maintain the integrity of Avista Corp gas facilities securing digin areas arranging for repairs responds to and ensuring public safety during an emergency situation. Responsible for fielding Avista Corp gas facilities in compliance with specific DOT regulatory reporting requirements.
This is a multistep progression.
- Requires minimum of two 2 years gas construction experience.
- Requires knowledge of Company Gas Safety Standards and Procedures as well as DOT pipeline regulatory requirements.
- Valid drivers license.
- Must complete Fundamentals of Natural Gas and Basic Electricity 1 within 6 months.
- Requires communication skills to provide information.
Other combinations of education/experience may be considered.
