The Secretary II will perform standardized patient checkin and checkout procedures including registration activities such as entering and/or verifying demographic insurance and/or financial information; generate routine forms obtain patient signatures and collects copays. Other daily tasks include but are not limited to: answering telephone calls scheduling patient appointments assists with referrals as needed Gathers/scans patient forms/records into EPIC performs daily appointment confirmation calls to patients and prioritizes incoming mail/faxes. Assists in QI activities and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Two years secretarial/clerical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.Excellent communication customer service organizational multitasking and computer skills required.
