Job Summary
One member of a frontline team with exceptional customer service skills responsible for managing switchboard operations maintaining the Admissions reception areas and serving as an initial point of contact for prospective students and their families visiting Radford University. Respond appropriately to all contacts made from prospective students by telephone and mail as well as welcome tour attendees. Update digital welcome signage daily based on tour registrants. Maintain and coordinate reservations for shared reception and office spaces. Assist with creation of online tour registration form and reminders as well as track tour attendance. Coordinate office mailings to prospective students and applicants based on where the student is in the admission cycle. Manage inventory usage and distribution of prospective student promotional items. Assist other areas within Admissions as needed or assigned.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated strong communication skills both verbal and written computer and interpersonal skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet applications. High school diploma required.

Considerable knowledge of office practices procedures and office equipment. Demonstrated ability to follow oral and written rules and regulations. Ability to learn new practices procedures and equipment operations. Ability to collect assemble and process information. Ability to organize work and multitask in a confidential and professional environment. Ability to work independently make decisions and meet deadlines. Good decision making is needed when determining information to be disseminated. Working knowledge of Banner Slate or other CRM . Experience with switchboard operations.
