About the Job
Seasons is a comprehensive behavioral health center offering a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral health services to communities in the Northwest Iowa region. Were currently seeking a fulltime Respite Care Provider. The Respite Care Provider is responsible for planning coordinating and providing therapeutic respite care in 1:1 or group settings. The purpose of respite care is to provide parents and guardians a break from caregiving and provide children with a safe therapeutic environment. Respite services are provided in office and/or communitybased settings and typically take place in the evenings on weekends and/or on days when school is not in session. A blend of daytime evening and some weekend hours are required. This position could be based in Spencer Sheldon or Sioux Center IA.
Salary Range
$17.00 $19.25 per hour (Commensurate with experience)
- A Bachelors degree in social work human services or a related field is required
- At least 1 year of experience working directly with individuals with behavioral health concerns is required
- At least 1 year of experience working with children is required
- Must be willing and able to submit health history record forms
- This position requires regular travel so a valid drivers license and reliable transportation is required
- A current First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain one is required
