What you will be doing
- Conducting applied research keeping in mind the constraints and requirements of real world solutions
- Mentoring other researchers in your team and leading projects with multiple participants.
- Working with engineers designers and product managers to aim your research to the right place.
- Keeping up with new research developments in academia and exposing them to all team members.
- Writing highquality code (aiming at productiongrade) and maintaining efficient workflows in your research process using best practices and tools.
Your skills and experience
- M.Sc with 4 years of industry experience in computer vision (or equivalent)
- Interest in working on applied problems and transferring their work to production
- Demonstrated ability to generate new ideas and innovate within our domain of interest (computer vision computational photography...
- Research track record including main contributions to projects you can showcase (e2e projects from inception to production)
- Highly independent and self learner
- Strong applied math background
- Soft skills: cando attitude team player proactive good communicator
Preferred Requirements
- Ph.D in the domain
- Research experience and familiarity with the literature in one of the Lightricks areas of interest.
- publications in relevant fields
- Interest/experience with computer graphics
- Experience writing productiongrade algorithms (with emphasis on efficiency & runtime)
- Experience with running models on device (coreML model conversions etc.
