Under the direction of the Director of Perioperative Business the scheduler 3 is responsible for the scheduling of elective procedures for Surgical Services and GI by utilizing knowledge of the physical environment surgical instrumentation and/or equipment staff and surgeons preferences to schedule cases. The Scheduler is responsible for promoting a professional atmosphere and assisting in activities to facilitate the smooth functioning of surgical schedule. Demonstrates effective public relations and communication skills in dealing with physicians office personnel visitors and staff.
