Job Summary:
The Executive Housekeeper at the Hazard KY Hotel is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of all guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. This individual will manage a team of housekeeping staff and ensure that high standards of cleanliness are maintained to provide a comfortable and welcoming experience for all guests. The Executive Housekeeper will report directly to the General Manger and will work fulltime in a fast paced and dynamic hospitality/restaurant industry.

Responsibilities:
Hire train schedule and supervise a team of housekeeping staff
Set and maintain high standards of cleanliness for guest rooms and public areas
Develop and implement cleaning procedures and checklists
Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Inspect rooms and public areas regularly to ensure cleanliness and address any issues
Handle and resolve guest complaints and concerns in a timely manner
Organize and schedule deep cleaning and maintenance projects
Ensure compliance with all hotel cleaning and safety standards
Manage department budget and expenses
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions
Collaborate with management team to implement new policies and procedures
Ensure housekeeping staff adhere to all EEOC guidelines and regulations
Requirements:
At least 35 years of experience in housekeeping management preferably in a hotel setting
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
Knowledge of cleaning procedures chemicals and equipment
Basic computer skills
Understanding of budget management and inventory control
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
