Job title: Senior Practice Accountant
Salary: up to 65k
Location: Hybrid roughly 2 days in a Cardiff office.
Vargo is recruiting a Senior Practice Accountant for a wellestablished Accountancy Practice based in Cardiff. The role will work closely with the senior management team and will have the opportunity to supervise and manage the team. It will suit someone who is keen on putting their own stamp on a modern accountancy practice that utilises all the latest technology to streamline processes and procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Managing a variety of clients especially tech startups from their early stages to being backed by investors.
- Handling monthly financial tasks such as management accounts tax submissions and preparing annual accounts
- Offering advice on financial matters and helping clients plan their budgets
- Supervising junior team members
- Ensuring a smooth process for bringing new clients on board
- Working towards set objectives and personal development goals
Essential Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in practice
- Experience in accounting for small to mediumsized businesses
- ACCA/ACA qualified
- Experience with Xero or QuickBooks
