Limited Service Employees (LSEs) are parttime positions without benefits and are eligible to work up to 1300 hours in any 12month period of time.
Applicants must be willing to work 12hour rotating shifts.
Perform a variety of analytical testing of raw materials inprocess and final product samples.
Simultaneously operate a variety of analytical instruments to perform sample tests.
Use volumetric glassware balances and dispensing devices to prepare samples for analysis.
The individual will be trained to perform the responsibilities of the job through completion of an onsite structured training program.
Work scheduling will be by assignment on a weekly basis to cover a regularly scheduled shift but participants must also be willing to work on a callin basis with notice as short as 8 hours in advance.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Chemistry is preferred.
Prior experience in a laboratory environment or advanced (posthigh school) study in Chemistry or science is preferred.
Computer experience with Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
