Introduction
MONTAGUE GARDENS CODE A MOTOR BIKE DRIVERS CAPE TOWN CODE A DRIVERS LICENSE ONLY AND VALID SOUTH AFRICAN ID ESSENTIAL
CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK AND LICENSE VERIFICATIONS WILL BE DONE.
Appointment: Permanent fulltime position.
Area: Montague Gardens Cape Town
Salary: R 7471 per month (not negotiable)
Benefits: Provident Fund and December Bonus
Working hours: Working Hours: Monday Friday 08:00 to 17:00 & Saturday 08:00 13:00
Each branch has their own branded motorbikes on their premises driver should only supply their own helmet.
- PROVIDE A VALID MOTOR BIKE LICENSE CODE A.
- ONLY SOUTH AFRICAN CITIZENS WILL BE ACCEPTED!
- NO TEMPORARY DOCUMENTATION WILL BE ACCEPTED!
- ONLY CODE A LICENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED (NOT code B EB C1 or EC ONLY CODE A!
- CRIMINAL BACKGROUND CHECK AND LICENSE VERIFICATIONS WILL BE DONE
- Proven experience working as a motor bike driver with references.
- Sound knowledge of road safety regulations.
- The ability to work well under pressure and use GPS devices.
- Reliable and punctual person.
- Picking up and delivering various packages to specified locations and branch transfers as per the delivery instructions provided.
- Verifying addresses and locations before each delivery to ensure that there are no errors.
- Carefully planning travel routes to ensure that packages are delivered to recipients in a timely manner.
- Securing packages to prevent damage during transit.
- Obtaining recipients signatures upon completion of each delivery to confirm receipt of the correct items.
- Collecting payments as required and ensuring that the correct amounts have been received.
- Maintaining an accurate record of all packages delivered to recipients.
- Regularly communicating with dispatch staff to provide delivery updates and receive instructions for new deliveries.
- Strong problemsolving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills.
