Job Title:Responsible Individual Childrens Residential Services
Location: Gloucestershire
Pay rate: per annum
Contract type:Permanent fulltime 37 hours per week)
About your role as theResponsible Individual Childrens Residential Services:
- You will be the appointed Responsible Individual (RI) and oversee a range of inhouse regulated residential provisions
- Hold line management responsibility for the registered managers (RMs) for all of the services
- Work closely with statutory agencies key partners and voluntary/community groups to achieve shared aims of improving the lived experience and outcomes for children and young people cared for by the Local Authority
- As the council expands their residential portfolio you will help navigate the initial stages of the home being opened. All managers have been recruited to posts so your responsibilities will include mentoring and supporting staff.
Your required experience asResponsible Individual Childrens Residential Services:
- Qualified Social Worker or equivalent residential qualification (Level 5
- Experience working within Childrens Residential Services in a managerial capacity in a local authority setting.
- Significant previous experience and knowledge within regulations and legislation of Childrens Residential Homes.
- Ability to challenge others constructively and make informed decisions.
- Available references for most recent 2 years roles and Enhanced DBS will be required.
