Job Description
Leidos Digital Modernization is seeking a talented System Administrator to join the team! The NISC V Training Group at Leidos has an opportunity at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) facility located in Atlanta GA. The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing air traffic control (ATC) simulation training equipment located in the lab. They will be responsible for installation and maintenance of the software and hardware. The position is full time daily operation and may require after hours and weekend duty via oncall support. The System Administrator is required to be able to respond within one 1 hour of critical incident notification during duty hoursand within six 6 hours or less during nonduty hours/weekends/holidays if needed. This position will require 10 20 travel.

Primary Responsibilities:
Installation and maintenance of the software and hardware to include but not limited to account management user privileges local group policy local software testing restoration operations contingency planning and local backups.
Ensuring updates and patches are completed and locally downloaded.
Working directly with vendor and users at the site and remote locations to help resolve user and network related issues as well as maintaining the integrity of the site domain.
Assisting with the development and implementation of training scenarios including the management and shipment of training pods to FAA facilities.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree with 2 years of prior relevant experience additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight as well as in conjunction with multiple personnel in the fulfillment of the individual employees functions.
Must have the ability to gather facts and use effective analytical and evaluative methods to assess information plan the sequence of actions necessary make sound decisions and solve a variety of problems.
The candidate should have a thorough understanding of their respective position functions and duties and will assist FAA and vendor in the creation and development of training.
Working knowledge and proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office applications to include MS Word MS Excel MS Office and MS Power Point.
Ability to travel 10 20.
Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Suitability granted through the FAA (To be eligible for Public Trust Security Clearance one must be either a U.S. Citizen OR a U.S. Permanent Resident/Green Card holder who has resided in the U.S.A for the past 3 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting the FAA is desired.
Active Public Trust with FAA.
Salary for this role is $40$42 hourly.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $57850.00 $104575.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
