GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This position is key to ensure patient group therapies are appropriately assigned and documented and also assists with education and back end administration of the electronic medical record as well as testing and report writing.The Wyoming Department of Health offers an excellent benefits package including:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function which may be performed in the job level.- Assists in the coordination of data collection.
- Develops and designs specialized reports spreadsheets forms etc.
- Administers the scheduling module of myAvatar electronic medical record.
- Compares data from several sources to assure the accuracy of report statements descriptions or phraseology.
- Identifies manages and protects the integrity of all state records regardless of media or creation for Wyoming state agencies and the public.
Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE:- Knowledge of theories principles and practices of archival science.
- Knowledge of governmental records systems.
- Knowledge of theories principles and practices of Records and Information Management (RIM) and archival science.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education:Bachelors Degree (typically in Records or Data Management)Experience:01 year of progressive work experience (typically in Records and Data Management) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Records & Data Management ClerkOREducation & ExperienceSubstitution:34 years of progressive work experience (typically in Records and Data Management) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Records & Data Management ClerkCertificates Licenses Registrations:NoneNecessary Special Requirements
PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:- Typically the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however there may be some walking standing bending carrying light items etc.
NOTES:- FLSA: NonExempt
- Preemployment drug and alcohol testing will be conducted on safetysensitive positions. Drug testing will be completed on any position if reasonable suspicion exists.
- A background check including the taking of fingerprints will be completed through the Wyoming Department of Criminal Investigation the Department of Family Services and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for every successful applicant.
- A current Influenza Vaccination is required.
