Job Description
Specifically the candidate will do the following:
- Work with the SCO front office team to manage funding of various SCO programs
- Work with government mission partners to manage fundingand programmatic statusof various programs
- Execute Military Interdepartmental Purchase Requests (MIPRs) as needed to send and receive funding to other government agencies
- In addition the candidate will support the SCO program manager (PM) with various programmatic responsibilities. Specifically the candidate shall performer the following tasks:
- Manage the budgets for multiple projects including planning for and making recommendations about current budget cycles and future fiscal years
- Develop and maintainbriefing productsand Project Plansfor periodic updates of program progress to the SCO front office
- Develop and maintainbriefings to other government stakeholders in theDoD as well as theexecutive and legislative branches
- Coordinate at least weekly with SCO performers on project status schedules budgets risks and other project areas
- Work with SCO performers to ensure rigorousprogram management andsystems engineering methodologies are implemented on SCO programs
- Review and provide feedback on SCO performer programmatic and technical briefings analysis and other deliverables
- Work with other SCO engineers to manage various studies and programs in a certain SCO portfolio.
- Will perform duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Relevant BA/BS degree (Relevant MA/MS preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience directly related to the position requirements
- Active TS/SCI Clearance
- Up to 25 travel
