Job Description

LifeWorks ofAustin TXis looking for a BIPP Facilitator II to join our Resolution Counseling team! A BIPP (Batterer Intervention and Prevention Program) Facilitator II in the Resolution Counseling (RC) program conducts strengthsbased traumainformed assessments and provides curriculum guided psychoeducational weekly group sessions to individuals who have engaged in intimate partner violence. A Facilitator II is responsible for maintaining timely and accurate documentation external reports and collaboration with external stakeholders to meet program and accreditation requirements. This role is responsible for supervision of interns as needed.

Thefull time exempt position earns a competitive rate ranging from $56499.25$61741.45 depending upon experience. Benefits are also included which consist of 24 PTO days per year (accrued); 15 paid holidays per year; a free employee medical plan with $100 per month HSA contribution (plus other affordable employee or family medical dental and vision options!; a retirement savings plan with 50 match on the first 6 of contributions and much more!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides inperson curriculumbased psychoeducational group services to individuals who have engaged in intimate partner violence; individual sessions with specialized populations may also be provided in lieu of groups.
  • Provides crisis intervention and safety planning with clients based on individual client needs.
  • Administers client services as appropriate which may include:
    • individual orientation and assessment for new clients
    • service and session planning
    • record keeping reporting and database entry including billing documentation
    • limited case management duties as appropriate
    • evaluation of client progress
    • contacting and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitors program participants and maintains documentation of all services in accordance with agency and funding requirements.
  • Assists in program development quality assurance and special projects including but not limited to:
    • enhancing group curriculum with additional research and trainings
    • participating in weekly creative session planning focused on group engagement and
    • auditing paperless client records for accuracy.
  • Provides or coordinates community outreach as required by individual program including but not limited to attending coordinated community response meetings providing information or training with community partners and stakeholders.
  • Maintains a working understanding of and adheres to the guidelines of oversight entities including the program agency licensing funder and/or accrediting body; adheres to TDCJCJAD BIPP Guidelines throughout service delivery documentation and reporting processes.
  • Maintains compliance with required training hours in family violence and BIPP facilitation.
  • Provides training and supervision to Bachelors level interns and volunteers.
  • Participates in agency and community committees which may include agency working groups or community collaboration initiatives.
  • Attends team meetings and supervision as assigned.

    For Bilingual Spanishservice staff only:

    • Provides direct client services in Spanish and assists in special projects and tasks related to the Spanish speaking community.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Requires a Bachelors degree in Social Work Psychology or a related field;
    • Requires 4 years related experience in group facilitation behavioral intervention counseling or domestic violence intervention programs; or
    • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook and agency database.
