Due to the continued growth and success for Abbey School we are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team.

Would you like a job where you are off during school holidays
Learning Mentors are not required to work when the school is closed so you will have halfterms Christmas Easter and the Summer Holidays off.
Salary is not affected your contracted salary is split between 12 and you are paid the same salary every month so essentially you dont work a day in August however you are still getting paid!

Many of our staff who started working as Learning Mentors have progressed into Senior Learning Mentor and Teaching roles and so if career progression at an exceptional Special School is something that interests you this is the School for you.
As a Learning Mentor you will gain invaluable insights into the schools inclusive ethos curriculum and dedication to bespoke support for every pupil. This experience will deepen your understanding of supporting children with special educational needs and the importance of fostering a supportive learning environment. Having worked closely with pupils staff and families you could then journey through career development opportunities to become a Senior Learning Mentor and/or Teacher. Please note that candidates applying for roles must meet the essential criteria of the role.
