The Role:
Our site in Bedford MA is seeking a/an UPE Process Engineering CoOp to join our team for the Fall 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
This role will aid the process engineer in driving process improvements maintaining SOPs and training and supporting the day to day troubleshooting and work on the line. This coop will focus more on improving yields reducing recurring causes of downtime improving specific membranes etc. Their improvement efforts will improve quality drive down cost and/or increase output.
What Youll Do:
Develop plan for updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) as needed
Data mining and analysis in Minitab
Make conclusions recommendations based on data analysis
Perform yield analysis
Learn how to participate in Gemba walks and look for lean and safety improvements
Perform membrane characterization testing
What We Seek:
Datadriven and handson approach
Proficient in Excel.
Ability to complete tasks in timely manner
Curiosity asking questions and providing your input to the team
Desired Major(s) & Graduation Year:
Chemical engineering Mechanical engineering or similar
Graduation of December 2025 or later
Eligibility:
Must be a currently enrolled student
Available to work 40 hours a week MF 8a5p) beginning in July through December
Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a coop program

Compensation: $20$30/hour range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
