Cascade AIDS Project(CAP) is the oldest and largest AIDS Service Organization (ASO) in Oregon and Southwest Washington that provides the LGBTQ community and beyond with compassionate healthcare. Cascade AIDS Projectis excited to announce that we are hiring a skilled and teamoriented STI/HIV Testing Counselor. The HIV Test Counselor conducts HIV testing at Pivot (a community space for gay/bi/trans and all MSM) CAPs Davis Street office and outreach testing sites as needed (including Multnomah Washington Clackamas and Clark counties). HIV testing shifts will require regular nights and weekends. Additional duties include: data collection and reporting of HIV/STI testing sessions monitoring and managing HIV testing room supplies data entry HIV testing quality assurance duties and other relevant duties as assigned.
This is a PartTime .5 FTE) role working out of variety of locations throughout the Portland area. The schedule for this role varies depending on staffing needs and when events are held.
Starting pay for this position is $23.29 an hour. The STI/HIV Testing Counselors pay increases with tenure and the top of the pay scale is $27.04. This is a union represented position so the compensation benefits and conditions of work are collectively bargained.
