Flexion Inc. a Madison WI based IT Consulting and Services firm is looking for a Java Developer to work on a longterm consulting project. The client for this position is based in Madison WI.

Duties for this position will include:
The ideal candidate will play a handson technologist/lead role in modernizing web application(s). Within this modernization effort the candidate will provide technical expertise in migrating application(s) to Spring Boot upgrading Java versions updating presentation layer technologies migrating applications to container hosted environments and provide guidance in the development of a DevSecOps and CI/CD development pipeline following industry best practices.
Skills required
- 5 years experience with Java/J2EE
- 5 years experience with Spring boot
- 5 years experience with Angular
- 4 years hands on Architecture/Design experience
- 4 years experience with microservices
- 4 years experience with AWS Cloud based development
- 3 years experience with DevSecOps Best Practices including leveraging SonarQube
- 5 years experience with Automated Testing Best Practices
- 4 years experience with Oracle and PL/SQL stored procedure
