Cardiothoracic Surgery

Physician Assistant

Fort Worth TEXAS

Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a full time opening for a Cardiothoracic Surgical Physician Assistant. Here is your chance to work with highly skilled and trained physicians who use stateoftheart technology and innovative procedures for patients who are diagnosed with a disease of the chest heart lungs esophagus or the major blood vessels and veins of the body.

Position Details:

Full Time 40 hours per week
Surgical Assist in cardiovascular and thoracic cases
Outpatient Ambulatory Visits & Hospital Rounding
Assess new consults in the clinic and hospital admissions
Assist with vein and radial harvesting; CABG and valve surgery

Requirements Needed to Apply:

Active Texas license
Physician Assistant Board Certification and Experience
Masters Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an approved PA program
Surgical Experience plus 1 2 years Hospital & Ambulatory experience preferred
Additionally experience with robotic surgery a plus.

PrefLicenses and CertificationsPA Physician Assistant Must maintain board certification as required for licensure.
