Job Description
The Porter Co. seeks an intern who will join our Project Management team for 1 to 2 semesters. The intern will be responsible for supporting the Assistant PM and Project Manager. This individual will take what has been learned in college classes and put it into practice on actual construction projects. Some of the highlights to be experienced include meaningful work inclusions within a specific project and monthly reviews.

- Spooling and Fabrication
- Submittals and RFIs
- Understanding Contract Drawings and Specifications
- Quality Control/Quality Assurance
- Startup and Commissioning
- Planning and Schedules
- Trade Interaction and Subcontractor Meetings
- Monthly Project Manager Training
- Safety
We are seeking applicants who are ambitious individuals with an interest in the mechanical contractor route. To succeed in this position one must be a resultsoriented team player with strong communication and problemsolving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.
