Your Opportunity:
We are seeking a talented and driven Procurement Specialist to join our growing team and play a vital role in our European operations while contributing to Smiths global success. In this role youll be at the heart of our procurement strategy sourcing electronic components and building strong relationships with suppliers. Youll have the opportunity to develop your skills in a fastpaced international environment and contribute to our continued growth.
Your Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers fostering longterm partnerships;
Source and negotiate the best prices for electronic components ensuring quality and timely delivery;
Conduct thoroughly part analysis and research to identify alternative manufacturers and crossrecommendations;
Manage purchase orders (POs) efficiently resolving any disputes in a timely manner;
Collaborate with Sales Operations and Accounting departments to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction;
Stay uptodate with industry trends and market conditions to inform purchasing strategies;
Apply your knowledge of supply chain management and industry standards to optimize procurement processes.
What Were Looking For:
Bachelors degree (preferred) or equivalent experience 13 years) in purchasing.
Prior experience in electronics distribution is a significant advantage.
Strong understanding of supply chain management principles.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook).
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
A proactive organized and detailoriented approach.
Ability to thrive in a fastpaced international environment.
Team player attitude.
