Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Research design and develop security features for the Web Application Firewall.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Prior professional experience as a developer is preferred
- Open to recent graduates with strong technical skills.
- Skills:
- Indepth understanding of webrelated standards and protocols particularly HTTP.
- Proficient in Linux C programming including development and debugging.
- Strong command of tools such as GCC GDB Vim/Emacs Makefile etc.
- Skilled in scripting languages especially Shell and Python.
- Familiar with operating system principles including processes threads synchronization and mutual exclusion.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols.
- Basic knowledge and operational experience in cloud environments (e.g. AWS Azure GCP).
- Knowledge of web security; development experience in this area is a plus.
- Positive work attitude and effective teamwork capabilities.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science Computer Engineering or related fields.
The Canada base salary range for this fulltime position is expected to be between $105000 $140000 annually. Wage ranges are based on various factors including the labour market job type and job level. Exact salary offers will be determined by factors such as the candidates subject knowledge skill level qualifications and experience.
