Job Description
Job Summary:
As a senior VOS Engineer working in the new product development group you will be responsible for a broad range of engineering tasks. Our mission is to deliver to the market highly reliable products for which Emerson is well known and our customers demand.
In This Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Good knowledge of Pneumatic and Hydraulic Fluid flow systems.
Proficient in 3D modeling Assembly Tubing and 2D drafting standards in Solid Edge.
Handson experience on Engineering Calculations to verify the design.
Experience in Creating manufacturing drawings General Arrangement Drawing Schematic Wiring Drawings and Bill of Materials.
Good application Knowledge of GD&T and Tolerance stackup.
Good understanding of engineering materials castings weld design fabrication Sheet metal and standard manufacturing processes.
Decisive drive and ability to deliver effective and innovative solutions.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools.
Excellent analytical skills and results oriented.
Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills.

For This Role You Will Need:
- Experience in mechanical testing will be added advantage.
- Experience on Team Centre and Oracle preferred.
- Good working knowledge of ASTM ASME ANSI API ISO & other standards related to Oil and Gas industry.
- Experience in documentation for certifications (e.g. PED ATEX)
- Basic understanding of engineering simulation software (e.g. ANSYS) is an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical / Production Engineering with 2 4 years of relevant experience in mechanical design industrial equipment. (Actuators valves gearboxes boilers other pressure equipment or special purpose machine).
- Good Experience in CAD / PLM / ERP Softwares (Solid Edge Team Centre Oracle).
