Senior Apparel Designer NIKE Inc. Beaverton OR. Design Nike product through practical insights knowledge of construction trims and materials to produce innovative apparel that reflect Nike design ethos and philosophies; develop concept and seasonal designs that may span across a variety of product types including lifestyle performance genderfluid knits woven tops and bottoms; attend fit sessions with a discerning eye to develop premier product with a stitchforstitch obsession across various levels of distribution and pricepoint; partner across design business materials and categories to ideate present develop and problemsolve through every step towards commercialization; oversee weartesting processes managing product costs developing concepts and mockups and material development; prepare presentation materials around seasonal design narratives toolboxes and frameworks to communicate designintent across styles and collections: help support teammates across various needs and share knowledge to develop talent across our team; work with crossfunctional members within Nike in graphic design color design technical design costing & sourcing and product line management; build relationships with Nike product categories innovation and material development counterparts; and work across a number of functions all with the goal of achieving commercialready products ontime and onbudget. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S. except from AK AL AR DE HI IA ID IN KS KY LA MT ND NE NH NM NV OH OK RI SD VT WV and WY.
Employer will accept a Bachelors degree in Industrial Design or Apparel design and two 2 years of experience in job offered or in a designerrelated occupation.

Adobe Illustrator
BOM Creation
Proto type fit comments
Technical drawing and specification package creation
Negotiating cost of goods
