Job Description
The Department of Psychology at St. Olaf College invites applications for a fulltime oneyear position in Psychology at the level of Visiting Assistant Professor to begin August position has the potential for additional years of reappointment.
Areas of expertise are open. Successful candidates will be able to teach two or more of the following courses: developmental psychology social psychology psychopathology psychology of personality biopsychology sensation & perception cognitive psychology and conditioning & learning. A fulltime load involves teaching six course sections spread over fall spring and/or a January term. All teaching is completed inperson. Appointees will also be expected to hold regular office hours on campus. Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to highquality undergraduate teaching and liberal arts education. Applicants from traditionally underrepresented groups as well as those who have experience working with diverse undergraduate student populations are particularly encouraged to apply.
Salary: $59000 $64000
Qualifications
A completed Ph.D. in psychology by the time of appointment is required.
