Description

The Print Service Shop Technician is responsible for the inhouse setup maintenance and repair of printers copiers and multifunction devices. This role ensures all equipment is serviced according to Van Ausdall & Farrars established procedures and quality standards. The technician maintains accurate inventory of parts and supplies provides basic connectivity support and upholds a clean and organized work environment. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction the ideal candidate delivers professional timely service while continually developing technical skills through ongoing training and education.


Hours: MondayFriday 8:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.

What You Have

  • Ability to manage time maintain a schedule monitor hours and only work overtime once it has been approved.
  • Consistently strong in punctuality timeliness and work ethic.
  • Ability to troubleshoot breakfix issues with copiers printers and multifunction equipment.
  • Ability to learn in a selfdirected manner to maintain current knowledge of assigned devices and/or equipment.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to gather and synthesize detailed information through listening and questions skills.
  • Ability to apply customer service skills and worktracking skills to ensure positive closure of issues.
  • Knowledge and skills in Mechanics Electronics Basic Computer and Applications.
  • Customercentric approach to service delivery and communications.


What Youll Do

  • Performs in house set up and service on printers copiers and other multifunction equipment.
  • Follows VAF Copier Service procedures and guidelines including closing service calls accurately.
  • Maintains a detailed and accurate parts and supply inventory.
  • Achieves high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering confident timely and professional service support.
  • Provides basic connectivity support.
  • Meets or exceeds defined production and quality standards.
  • Participates in continued education and training opportunities.
  • Maintains shop organization and cleanliness.


What Youll Bring to the Role

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1 2 years minimum of technical support and/or industry related experience
  • 2year degree in electronics telecommunications or related field or equivalent experience preferred
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Maintains a good driving record with no traffic violations
