We are seeking aCommunication Center Representativeto:
- Support paging messaging and scheduling and appointment services for UW Health.
- Provide remarkable customer service to UW Health staff physicians and patients.
- Confirm and cancel appointments on nights weekends and holidays for specifically designated clinics.
- Take various calls ranging from connecting callers to inpatient rooms notifying an oncall physician about an organ offer and executing emergency plans.
You will use:
- High quality personal computer workstations.
- Stateoftheart telephone technology in a call center environment.
- Proprietary software programs specifically designed for call handling message taking appointment scheduling and radio paging services.

Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Healthcare Information Technology Business or related field 2 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree) Required
- Associates Degree or Bachelors degree in Healthcare Information Technology Business or related field strongly Preferred
Work Experience
- Experience in a large automated call service center and familiarity with at least one form of call processing software Preferred
- 1 year of experience in a medical call center or customer service environment Preferred
