Job Description
Job Summary:
Selrico Services Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Prep Cook to join our team at our Cafe in North Charleston South Carolina. As a Prep Cook you will be responsible for preparing daily menu items and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. This individual contributor role offers a competitive salary of $16 per hour and is a full time position with weekly pay. SECURE FACILITY: NO PHONES OR ELECTRONICS ALLOWED ON BASE LANDLINE AVAILABLE IF NEEDED.

Responsibilities:
Prepare all menu items in a timely and accurate manner
Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency and quality of food
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen including proper sanitization of food preparation areas and equipment
Stock and rotate ingredients as necessary
Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
Collaborate with the rest of the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Ensure adherence to all food safety and sanitation regulations
Any other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
R.E.A.L. ID:REAL ID Homeland Security (dhs)
Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures; must obtain food handler certificate
Must clear a Military background check
Strong communication and time management skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
High school diploma or equivalent
