Surgical Physician Assistant / PA Night Shift NEW GRADS WELCOME
Danbury Hospital now part of Nuvance Health is seeking a fulltime Night Surgical Physician Assistant (Surgical PA) to join our established and growing Surgical Advanced Practitioner Services program in Danbury Connecticut located about 60 miles northeast of New York City and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York State. Our busy service of 13 fulltime Advanced Practitioners currently provides services to all surgical patients admitted to the hospital as well as in Observation Extended stay Emergency room and Operating room including consults pre and postoperative care as well as OR first assist. Specialties include but are not limited to Urology Orthopedics Neurosurgical/Spine Plastics and ENT. As we grow the program we will be evolving to a 24/7 service. The schedule is 312 hours shift with some weekend and holiday coverage required.
The ideal candidate will be a board certified physician assistant withsurgical and/or patient management experience and/or surgical residency training. New graduates welcome to apply. This is an employed position with Nuvance Health Medical Practice. We offer a competitive compensation package including allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses.

Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70000 ED visits per year. Boston New York City New Haven and Hartford are easily accessible via train or car.

$105000/yr.$150000/yr. (Commensurate with experience)
