Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Physicist Radiation Oncology to join our healthcare team. The Medical Physicist will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy treatments and medical imaging procedures.
Duties:
Perform quality assurance tests on radiation therapy equipment
Develop treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy
Provide expertise in the safe use of radiation in medical procedures
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Conduct research to improve treatment techniques and equipment
Maintain accurate records of treatment plans and patient dosages
Requirements:
Masters or Doctoral degree in Medical Physics or related field
Certification by the American Board of Radiology or American Board of Medical Physics
Proficiency in CT Mammography and medical imaging technologies
Strong knowledge of anatomy physiology and medical terminology
Experience in acute care critical care and radiation therapy settings
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills
NicetoHave Skills:
Familiarity with advanced medical imaging techniques
Knowledge of emerging technologies in radiation therapy
Experience with dosimetry systems and treatment planning software
