Job Description
Electrical Engineer
- Electrical engineer to focus on design of highquality magnetic components.
- Design and develop electrical systems and components focusing on magnetic components such as transformers inductors and reactors.
- Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
- Use computerassisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks.
- Direct and coordinate manufacturing construction installation maintenance support documentation and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications codes and customer requirements.
- Perform detailed analyses to assess the feasibility cost and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
- Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
- Research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
- Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and to make recommendations to maintenance crew.
- BS Electrical Engineering or a related field MS Degree a plus
- Experience with electrical design for manufacturing of magnetic components.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.
- Proficiency in CAD and other engineering design software.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to think critically.
