Job Description

Electrical Engineer
  • Electrical engineer to focus on design of highquality magnetic components.
  • Design and develop electrical systems and components focusing on magnetic components such as transformers inductors and reactors.
  • Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
  • Use computerassisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks.
  • Direct and coordinate manufacturing construction installation maintenance support documentation and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications codes and customer requirements.
  • Perform detailed analyses to assess the feasibility cost and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
  • Specify system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
  • Research and test manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
  • Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and to make recommendations to maintenance crew.
  • BS Electrical Engineering or a related field MS Degree a plus
  • Experience with electrical design for manufacturing of magnetic components.
  • Strong understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in CAD and other engineering design software.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to think critically.
